My Debt Reduction phone call: I was curious what they had to say and decided to play along – what were these companies telling people?
Their Questions Begin: Do you have credit card debt? Do you want to get out of it? How much are your monthly payments? Are you struggling to make the payments? Would you like to have extra money each month to your advantage?
I slipped in a question of my own – Will this affect my good credit?
He asks: Is your good credit more important than getting rid of your debt? I told him yes – my good credit was more important – He tries to convince me otherwise – you can build your credit back after you stop paying your monthly bills – that way you will have extra money to use now.
Once he found out my Integrity was more important to me than getting rid of credit card debt, he was finished.
